MGI Auckland was established in 1963 by Peter Wilson. Today it is a stable, medium-sized accountancy practice providing clients with an excellent and extensive range of professional, administrative and specialist support services. MGI Auckland is both well-respected and highly-regarded for its expertise in business management, IT and financial services as well as taxation and accounting advice.

International
MGI Auckland is part of one of the largest associations of independent accounting, consulting and audit firms in the world. The MGI group has over 250 offices in more than 75 countries with a combined turnover of more than USD245m. This helps MGI Auckland provide the best professional service world-wide with access to international knowledge and the ability to help clients who are looking at expanding overseas. MGI Auckland can also offer clients the opportunity to explore business opportunities and establish strategic alliances, through MGI's global network.
This MGI Association was founded in 1947 and has stringent membership requirements. MGI members are independent and well-established medium sized practices with particular expertise in local and international affairs.
Significant roles have been played in the successful growth of MGI's international network by Peter Wilson as Worldwide Chairman and Nick Francis representing the Australasian Region on the MGI International Committee.
The principals of MGI Auckland regularly attend MGI conferences internationally to establish close contacts with global partners. In addition, senior staff and principals share meetings, conferences and special interest seminars with trans-Tasman MGI colleagues. Such a close relationship is, of course, greatly beneficial to clients with trans-Tasman interests.
The MGI Australasian group is widely recognised for its pro-active approach to international networking. And the Asian Pacific region is of particular interest to MGI Auckland. We recognise the need for New Zealand accountancy practices to service the challenging commercial activities of Asian businesses and investors. We have long established and regular communication with MGI affiliates throughout this region.

MGI Auckland has a close association with other MGI members of the Australasian region.
There is a strong representation of firms in Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne, Mossman, Port Douglas, port Pirie, Perth & Sydney as well as MGI Auckland in New Zealand.
This association provides a resource for information sharing and service development between the member firms which enables MGI Auckland to provide to our clients professional advice in relation to a wide range of activities and jurisdictions.
